Beware of American Heart Association "Standards."

June 28, 2013

Looking to be CPR certified through the American Heart Associate?  Well, be careful because there are companies that offer complete, online certifications.  You must know that you could never do a complete CPR class online.  Many have gone to these websites, paid the money, taken the class and past the test only to take the card to their employer and it not be accepted.  Now you lose time at work which cost you money.  Don't fall for that trap. These websites state that they have American Heart Association "standards."  The word "standards" is different from the word "certified."  "Standards" just means that they saw how that American Heart Association taught the class and they copied the information.   Always look for American Heart Association "certified" instructors.  If you are looking for a class now, please visit streamsoflightcpr.com.
